A Stifel advisor team that managed almost $200 million in assets has left the firm to join Raymond James & Associates.
The team, known as Pucci Financial of Raymond James, generated about $3.1 million in annual fees and commissions while at Stifel. Lead by senior team member James M. Pucci, the group joined Raymond James in Goshen, N.Y., about 50 miles north of New York City. The team reports to Jeff Zelin, New York metro region complex manager.
Pucci started his career in 1969 with Loeb, Rhoades & Company, according to FINRA records. He worked at Shearson Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch before moving to Stifel in 2006. His team includes sons, Jason and the younger James C., both advisors, marketing associate Jennifer Pucci, who is married to Jason, and senior registered sales associate Diane Nikeshin.
Jason and James joined their father's advisor team in 1993 and 2002 respectively. All three moved to Stifel in 2006.
Stifel also recently had its chance at grabbing advisors from Raymond James. The firm recruited three Raymond James advisors in Atlanta. All had been with Morgan Keegan, a regional firm that Raymond James acquired in 2012.
