BNY Mellon wealth advisers in the U.S. have a new boss.
The firm named company veteran Thomas Dicker head of U.S. markets, a new position reporting into Don Heberle, CEO of BNY Mellon Wealth Management.
Dicker will oversee the firm's 38 U.S. wealth offices and will be responsible for driving growth and delivering what it calls a "superior client experience" across regional markets. He will be based in Boston.
Dicker was previously the firm's chief operating officer, a role he filled for nearly five years, according to his LinkedIn profile. He held several other key leadership positions during his 29 years with BNY Mellon, including overseeing the acquisition of the firm's offices in Toronto, Chicago and Menlo Park, the firm said.
"We're delighted to have Tom in this important role as we continue to focus on growth and expand our presence in key wealth markets," Heberle said in a statement. "Tom has a deep understanding of our business, knows our talented professional teams well, and perhaps most importantly, is deeply familiar with the needs of our clients."
