Execs Moving Up in Bank Wealth Management

Anthony Pecora, Associated Bank

Anthony Pecora joined Associated Bank in Chicago to oversee the compliance program for the bank's retail brokerage unit, which employs 27 financial consultants.

Pecora manages three full-time employees, including two compliance officers. He was previously with Northern Trust Asset Management, where he was head of compliance for more than four years.

David Sawyer, BMO Delaware Trust Co.

David Sawyer, a former managing director with BMO Financial Group's ultrahigh-net-worth CTC myCFO unit, was named president of BMO Delaware Trust Co. He leads a team dedicated to developing and executing strategies to grow BMO's trust business in Delaware.

Sawyer reports to Debbie Korompilas, national head of Trust and Estate Services of BMO Private Bank and former president of the trust company.

Ben McGloin, BNY Mellon Wealth Management

Ben McGloin was promoted to the position of national director of portfolio management for BNY Mellon Wealth Management. He previously led the firm's portfolio management teams in western U.S. markets.

In his new role, McGloin focuses on implementing BNY Mellon Wealth Management investment strategies across all client segments and ensuring consistent client service standards across all regions. He reports to Chief Investment Officer Leo Grohowski.

Thomas Melcher, PNC Bank

Thomas Melcher was promoted to chief investment officer of PNC Bank's asset management group on Jan. 1. He was previously managing executive of Hawthorn, PNC's ultrahigh-net-worth wealth management unit.

Melcher joined PNC in 1991 as a credit analyst, advancing through a number of roles, including chief investment officer for PNC Wealth Management in Philadelphia and southern New Jersey.

Melcher succeeds James Dunigan, who will be retiring this year.

Randi Bellner, U.S. Bank

Randi Bellner joined U.S. Bank as market leader of the Private Client Reserve high-net-worth unit in Cincinnati. He leads the unit's 68-person wealth management team there.

Bellner was previously the market leader for Key Private Bank's Indiana region. Prior to that, he served in leadership roles for PNC Financial Services.

John Benevides, U.S. Bank

John Benevides joined U.S. Bank as east region president of the Private Client Reserve high-net-worth unit. He leads the unit's wealth management team serving clients in the east region, which includes Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Louisville, Naples, Nashville, New York and Palm Beach.

Benevides joined U.S. Bank from BMO Financial Group, where he was president and CEO of CTC myCFO. He also directed the activities of BMO Delaware Trust Co. and led the ultrahigh-net-worth activities of BMO Harris Private Bank.
