Former UBS advisers Bill Rouse, Jessica Harper, Jeff Burton and Steve Meyer were managing more than $426 million in client assets before they made the move, the spokeswoman said. The team, based in Charleston, S.C., now operates as Millennium Private Wealth.

Raymond James Hires $2.3M Team from UBS
Joseph G. Hameline, Jr. and his sons Joseph G. Hameline III and Erikson Hameline had overseen $260 million in client assets before making the move, Raymond James said. The team, operating as Hameline Wealth Management, includes support staff Brenda Kelley and Virginia Williamson, and is in South Burlington, Vt.

$125M UBS Team Joins HighTower
Chris Ure and Al Martinez joined HighTower as managing directors in Boca Raton, Fla. The team is High Tower's third this year and second in Florida, according to the firm.

Advisers Kristy McGee and Jennifer Dayoub joined Raymond James' employee channel in El Paso, Texas.
While at Morgan, they generated almost $1 million in annual revenue, according to Raymond James. The team made the move in January. McGee said in a statement that they switched firms in part due to Raymond James' technology and platform.

Raymond James' Alex. Brown Adds Retired Exec
Seth Waugh, former CEO of Deutsche Bank Americas, will be coming out of retirement to serve as non-executive chairman at the boutique once Raymond James finalizes its purchase of Deutsche's U.S. Private Client Services unit. The 35-year industry veteran will focus on client and adviser relationships while helping drive Alex. Brown's strategic direction, according to the fast-growing regional B-D.

Merrill shuffles market execs
Chris Bettencourt, formerly the market executive for Hartford, Conn., was bumped up to take on the Boston financial market, the firm said. Bettencourt started his career at Morgan Stanley in 1993, FINRA Brokercheck records show. He joined Merril in 2004 and has held various director positions for the wirehouse's Southern New England/Upstate New York and Wisconsin divisions.
Replacing Bettencourt in Hartford is Shamus O';Rourke. O'Rourke was previously market executive at the firm's Northern New England unit before this appointment. According to BrokerCheck records, O'Rourke started his career in 1993 at Fisco Equity. He did a previous stint at Merrill from 1998 to 2006, when he moved to Morgan Stanley. O'Rourke later returned to Merrill in 2011, BrokerCheck records show.
