Who's News: Morgan Stanley Hires Leon Ciobataru, Luiz Boruchowski and Cheryl Young

Morgan Stanley reeled in three advisors with a combined production of over $4.2 million. Formerly at Wells Fargo, Leon Ciobataru and Luiz Boruchowski oversaw $210 million in assets in Miami, Fla., and Cheryl Young joins Morgan Stanley in Los Gatos, Calif., after managing $221 million.

Four advisors from Merrill Lynch have moved to RBC. The Haynes & Woodward Investment Group of Todd Haynes and Thomas Woodward managed $130 million in assets, and Scott Holder and Jason Carter of the Holder/Carter Group oversaw $80 million in client assets. They will work in RBC's Leawood, Kansas office, which is located near Kansas City.

Separately, RBC also tapped David Upin, who was responsible for managing $110 million at Wells Fargo. He will join the firm's Minneapolis complex.

Merrill Lynch Wealth Management has snapped up a Beverly Hills, Calif.-based Morgan Stanley team led by Rebecca Rothstein that managed about $2.5 billion in client assets.

Baird has hired away industry veteran Karen Heintz from UBS. She will be a branch manager of the Edina, Minn., office. After more than 25 years with Morgan Stanley, Richard Wright, has joined Wedbush's private client group in San Diego.
