UBS Hires San Francisco Advisor

UBS Wealth Management Americas has hired financial advisor Henry Wagner to its San Francisco office.

Wagner has been registered with UBS since April 18, according to FINRA records. He joins the firm from Stern, Agee & Leach, where he had $1.14 million in fees and commissions and $224 million in assets under management. Wagner reports to UBS Complex Director Michael Williams.

The new addition comes as UBS has been on a hiring streak for its U.S. wealth management business, having announced the hiring of new advisors to its offices in California, New York and Ohio this month. Attrition in the firm’s U.S. advisor force has reached a record low since before the financial crisis, the firm said in its quarterly earnings report Tuesday. The Wealth Management Americas financial advisor head count stands at 6,811 for the first quarter, including 15 new additions.
