
UBS pulled in four advisors who oversaw more than $700 million in combined client assets, a spokesman says.
The Swiss-owned wirehouse recruited the advisors from Merrill Lynch and Wells Fargo last month.
In the largest of three moves, advisor Lance Martin left Wells Fargo to join UBS in Tulsa, Okla. Martin oversaw $300 million in client assets and generated $1.4 million in annual revenues. He now reports to Greg Hopeman, director and manager of the Tulsa office.
Martin had been at Wells or its predecessor firms since joining the industry in 1997, according to FINRA BrokerCheck records.
In Plano, Texas, UBS recruited a Merrill team that oversaw $265 million in client assets and generated $1.2 million in annual revenues. Advisors Ryan McCuller and Bobby Senter report to Mike Rhodes, assistant complex director.
McCuller had been at Merrill since 1996. Senter joined him at the wirehouse in 2011.
UBS also hired Merrill advisor Byron Brook in Plano. He generated $1 million in annual revenues and oversaw $200 million in client assets.
Brook joined Merrill in 1998.
