UBS and Oppenheimer Give Up Advisors With $190M Combined AUM to Aegis

Three advisors with a combined $190 million under management have left Oppenheimer and UBS to join Aegis Capital, a New York-based brokerage, the firm said.

In the larger of the two moves, advisor Julian Stoopler, who managed about $100 million in client assets, left Oppenheimer for Aegis, according to the firm.

Stoopler's career goes back to 1972, when he first started in the business with Mack, Bushnell & Edelman, according to FINRA records. He joined Oppenehimer since 2012.

He is based in West Palm Beach, Fla., according to FINRA records.

In a separate move, UBS advisors Miguel Pascual and Blanca Fernandez left the wirehouse where they managed more than $90 million, according to Aegis.

Pascual started his advisory career in 1980 with CS First Boston Corporation, according to FINRA records. He later worked for Doral before joining UBS in 2002. Fernandez had been with UBS in 2005. They are based in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
