TD Bank Names Williams Head of TD Wealth

TD Bank has promoted Brandon Williams to senior vice president and head of TD Wealth.

Williams will work with Baharat Masrani, the president and CEO of TD Bank, and Leo Salon, executive vice president of TD Bank Group's wealth advice businesses. Williams will focus on leading and expanding the TD Wealth business in the U.S. franchises as well as come up with new strategies and platforms to meet U.S. high net worth clients’ needs.

Willimas will oversee Private Investment Counsel, Private and Institutional Trust, Private Banking along with mass affluent clients through growing TD’s partnership with TD Ameritrade.

“I am thrilled to take on this key role within TD. We have a significant opportunity to grow TD Wealth, and I look forward to partnering with TD Bank and TD Ameritrade as we build a comprehensive wealth offering for our clients,” Williams said.

 

Since joining TD Bank in 2001, Williams has grown the company’s retail banking franchise to more than 80 stores in only a 10-year span. He has also served as chief of staff for TD Bank President and CEO Masrani. “Under Brandon’s leadership, TD Wealth will play an increasingly important role in meeting our customers’ financial services needs,” Masrani said.

 

Before joining TD Bank, Williams was vice president for Dime Savings Bank and spearheaded East Coast marketing and sales team for subsidiary North American Mortgage Insurance. Williams is also chair of TD Bank’s People with Disabilities Committee.
