A former UBS Advisor with more than $130 million in assets and $1.2 million in annual production made a move to RBC Wealth Management-U.S.
Peter Cleary and client associate Mariana Ali will be joining RBC's Norwell, Mass. Office, and report to Boston Complex Director Paul Leyden, according to a statement from the firm.
Cleary started his career in 1991, according to FINRA records. His move follows another wirehouse grab by RBC. The Canadian-owned firm picked up a former Morgan Stanley director, Christopher Anderson, this week to oversee RBC's Atlanta complex and expansion plans for the South.
RBC has recruited about 60 advisors this year, and was recently ranked sixth by AUM among global wealth managers in a study by PAM Insight SA. The firms wealth management and capital markets units in the United States are in growth mode following strong second quarter profits, according to incoming Royal Bank of Canada CEO David McKay.
