In its second recruitment move in a week, Raymond James welcomed two veteran financial advisors to its independent channel.
Christopher Fluehr and Jason Mamalis joined Raymond James Financial Services from Wells Fargo Advisors on July 18. At Wells, the pair managed more than $200 million in client assets and brought in over $1 million in annual production.
Senior member Fluehr began his career working in the municipal bonds department at Smith Barney in 1980. He has 15 years of experience as a financial advisor, according to FINRA records. He spent four years with Wells Fargo.
Mamalis has 10 years of experience in investment banking and seven as a financial advisor. He also spent four years at Wells.
This is the third recruitment move Raymond James has announced this month. On July 17, it picked up an advisor duo from UBS managing $100 million in assets. Raymond James also reeled in a UBS advisor team managing over $575 million in assets on July 10.
