Three Wells Fargo veterans who managed more than $300 million in client assets and generated almost $2 million in annual revenue moved to Raymond James Associates, a spokesman says.
Keith Bock, Mark O. Downey II, and Jason Peterson jumped to Raymond James’ Rochester, New York office, forming the BDP Wealth Management group. They are joined by client associate Janet Emhof, according to the firm.
“We knew we wanted a smaller firm that would provide us more flexibility, more access [and] more responsiveness,” Downey says in a statement. “Yet, we wanted a firm that would also provide a multitude of resources, sophisticated research and investment management, and the latest technology.”
Bock, in a statement, also cites his longtime familiarity with local Raymond James branch manager Jeff Wolk.
Bock has worked at Wells Fargo and its predecessor firms for nearly four decades, starting with Bache in 1978. Downey followed a similar path to Wells Fargo, beginning his financial services career at Prudential-Bache in 1991.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo in 2005, Peterson worked at Merrill Lynch, according to FINRA BrokerCheck records.
