In this clip, financial advisor Marci Bair of San Diego-based Bair Financial Planning and her son, Orange, California-based real estate investment firm Futures Financial senior account executive Justin Harrison, told FP Chief Correspondent Tobias Salinger what led him to follow his mother into the financial world. 

The two former athletes also shared their thoughts on the connections between sports and finance. Each of them works alongside other former athletes tying the lessons they learned through sports into careers in the financial world, which is a trait their firms share in common with other retired players such as Luke Harangody of GeoWealth and Wale Ogunleye of UBS Global Wealth Management.
