Broker-dealer Waddell & Reed has added 11 new advisors totaling $430 million in new assets under management from seven firms.
The new arrivals include four from the wirehouse channel, who oversaw $129 million of the added AUM. The former wirehouse advisors include:
- Robert Kenny of St. Louis, formerly of Wells Fargo Financial Network (AUM: $15 million)
- Steven Kenny of St. Louis, formerly of Wells Fargo Financial Network (AUM: $50 million)
- Martha Williams of Bloomfield, Mich., formerly of Merrill Lynch (AUM: $16 million)
- Mary Weber of Madison, Wis., formerly of Merrill Lynch (AUM: $48 million)
Overland Park, Kan.-based Waddell & Reed was founded in 1937 and provides financial planning services to clients through its network of nearly 1,800 financial advisors working in more than 160 registered offices. The other advisors who joined Waddell & Reed are:
- Joseph Bess of Edmond, Okla., formerly of J.P. Morgan (AUM: $54 million)
- Andrew Lawrence of Tacoma, Wash., formerly of U.S. Bancorp. (AUM: $68 million)
- Bryce Matteson of Wichita, Kan., formerly of Oppenheimer (AUM: 27 million
- Jacquelyn Niedringhaus of Fort Collins, Colo., formerly of RBC Wealth Management (AUM $38 million)
- Gary Parsons of Tallahassee, Fla., formerly of Pro Equities (AUM: $26 million)
- Quentin Robb of Fort Collins, Colo., formerly J.P. Morgan (AUM $49 million)
- Dallas Wheeler of Fort Collins, Colo., formerly J.P. Morgan (AUM $39 million)
