Wolfe, a 20-year industry veteran, had been at Morgan since 2008, according to FINRA records. Prior to Morgan, he was an advisor at UBS for a decade.

Merrill also recruited a Morgan Stanley advisor with $110 million in AUM for the firm's Princeton, N.J., office on July 8.  Steven Bullard generated $721,000 in annual revenue. He had been with Morgan since 1987.

In Illinois, Merrill grabbed an ex-J.P. Morgan advisor who managed $150 million in assets. Suzanne Austin joined Merrill's Chicago on July 9.  She had worked at J.P. Morgan from 2006 to 2012, according to FINRA records.

In the fourth move, Merrill picked up an advisor from regional firm Hilliard Lyons.  Mary Ellen Backer had been with Hilliard Lyons since 1981.  Backer managed $172 million in assets and generated $553,000 in annual revenue.  She joined Merrill's Carmel, Ind., office on August 15.
