Benjamin Edwards Nabs Wells Fargo Advisors, Opens New Office

Benjamin Edwards is luring away talent from Wells Fargo, boosting its presence in the Midwest and New England.

The Tetreault-Robb Financial Group has left Wells Fargo to open Benjamin Edwards’ office in New London, N.H., marking Edward's first office in the state. With this newest edition, the St. Louis-based firm has 42 offices in 22 states.

The team is comprised of advisors Lori Tetreault and Thomas Robb as well as financial associates Stefanie Howell and Diane Hobart. Both Tetreault and Robb have accredited asset management specialist certifications. Tetreault is also a veteran of the financial services industry, having started at A.G. Edwards & Sons in 1988, according to FINRA documents.

“They are a talented group who share our client-first approach and are eager to leverage our service-oriented culture, as well as our extensive lineup of products and services as they work with their clients,” J. William Forrester, senior vice president and eastern regional manager for Edwards, said in a statement.

In a similar move from Wells Fargo, advisor Brian Persson joined the Edwards' office in Waterloo, Iowa as associate vice president of investments. Persson has worked in the financial services industry for 13 years.

“He is steadfastly committed to his clients and brings the perspective and investment knowledge investors find appealing and helpful – particularly in today’s market environment,” Roger Buller, senior vice president and Midwestern regional manager, said in a statement.
