Baird Adds Advisor From William Blair

Baird has snapped up an advisor with $200 million in AUM from William Blair, an employee-owned brokerage in Chicago.

Paul Donnelly, who has 25 years of experience, joins the firm as director and financial advisor in the Chicago Private Wealth Management office.

Donnelly began his career in 1987 in the tax division of Arthur Anderson and had been at William Blair as an investment counselor since 2006.

“His broad industry experience and dedication to outstanding client service makes him a tremendous addition to our firm and excellent fit for our culture,” Frank Moroni, managing director and branch manager of the Chicago office, said in a statement.

Milwaukee-based Baird also recently added two teams with $800 million in assets from Morgan Stanley, UBS, and Northern Trust. Overall, the firm has around 700 advisors.
