Wells Fargo hired a team that oversaw $700 million in assets while at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, a spokeswoman says.
Advisers Laurisa Anderson and Steven Remchuk joined Wells Fargo Advisors earlier this month in Tulsa, Okla. They report to branch manager John Gero, according to the firm.
Anderson and Remchuk have been registered with J.P. Morgan since 2009 and 2006, respectively, according to FINRA BrokerCheck records. They both previously worked at Banc One, which was acquired by J.P. Morgan in 2004.
A spokeswoman declined to comment on the team's departure.
Wells Fargo also said it recently recruited a Morgan Stanley adviser overseeing $107 million in client assets.
Adviser Kenneth Ibbetson joined Wells Fargo in Brea, Calif., a suburb of Los Angeles. He reports to Alan Hall, Anaheim complex manager. Ibbetson started his advisory career at Smith Barney in 2001, according to FINRA BrokerCheck records. He stayed with the firm following its merger with Morgan Stanley.
