A former Morgan Stanley adviser who oversaw $140 million in client assets has joined RBC, according to a spokeswoman .
Gray Jackson, who generated more than $1 million in annual revenues, joins RBC as a vice president, the firm says. Jackson will be working from the firm's new branch in Augusta, Ga.
"Augusta is a close-knit community and we are excited to open an office here to better serve the comprehensive wealth management needs of our great clients and the community as a whole,” Jackson says.
Also joining Jackson as an RBC client associate is his wife Elizabeth Jackson. Gray Jacskon started his career in 1997 at Pruco Securities and moved to First Union in 1998, according to FINRA BrokerCheck records. He later moved to Citigroup in 2002 before joining Morgan Stanley in 2009.
Chip Anderson, RBC's senior managing director of the Atlanta complex expressed the firm's gratitude to have an adviser with Jackson's reputation join RBC in Georgia.
“Georgia is an important market for RBC Wealth Management as we look to grow in the area, and the opening of the new branch will allow us to better serve the needs of our clients in this market,” said Jackson in a release.
