Market volatility, geopolitical instability, a government shutdown — advisors have had their work cut out for them. It’s why each year On Wall Street recognizes the hard work of the industry’s elite young talent with the Top 40 under 40 list.
These 40 advisors generated more than $167 million in combined annual revenue and were responsible for more than $28 billion in client assets, according to their employers. (Production and AUM figures are as of Sept. 30, 2018.)
The unveiling of this year’s list begins with Nos. 40 to 31. These advisors work at wirehouses and regional broker-dealers such as Merrill Lynch and Baird. A few faces may be familiar. Others made the ranking for the first time.
Finalists for the ranking were 39 or younger as of Dec. 31, 2018, and were registered with an advisory firm in the employee channel. Production totals were used to determine the rankings. Nominees’ information was confirmed with their employers.
