Branded digital apps continue to roll out as firms attempt to connect with a wired clientele.
The TD Ameritrade mobile app, currently a free download on the iOS store, provides clients with customized watch lists, stock summaries and major indices, and is now available on the Apple Watch, according to the firm.
Some of the features include touch identification access as well as a social news sharing, allowing clients to share stories via their social network, according to the firm.
TD Ameritrade's Mobile Trader, which is an account management tool currently available on the iPad, iPhone and Android, will now be available on the Apple Watch this fall, the firm adds.
Also among the growing list of wealth management apps cropping up in the AppleStore and Android market is T. Rowe Price's MarketScene.
The firm's latest tool provides market insights and a balanced perspective on both upside and downside scenarios, as well as provides key global economic and market themes, the firm says.
MarketScene also delivers clients access to recent stock and bond positioning in the firms suite of asset allocation portfolios, according to T. Rowe Price.
Every day financial advisors are inundated with market information and commentary from a wide variety of industry sources, explains Darrell Riley of T. Rowe Prices asset allocation group. MarketScene distills and streamlines that information into timely, easily digestible content with a clear point of view."
