A husband-and-wife team with nearly $157 million in client assets left Edward Jones for Raymond James.
Dax and Amber Seale of Seale Wealth Management have folded their practice into Raymond James' traditional employee broker-dealer channel in Dallas, the firm said. Both had roughly $1.7 million in annual production at the time of their departure from Edward Jones, according to Raymond James.
The Seales will join Raymond James senior sales associate Angela Frohlich and sales associate Janie Faught as part of the move.
"We were attracted to the culture and values at Raymond James, as well as the platform, which allows us to deliver a superior client experience," Dax Seale said in a statement following the announcement. "Amber and I are holistic planners, and Raymond James embraces that same focus with the technology and tools, like goal planning and monitoring, that enable us to offer clients a higher level of service."
The team will specialize in high-net-worth clients, women investors, business owners and corporate executives, the firm says.
Dax Seale got his start in the financial services industry as a business consultant with ADP before later joining his wife as an advisor at Edward Jones in 2009, according to FINRA records.
Amber Seale had been with Edward Jones since 2002, BrokerCheck records show. Before that she was an auditor with Ernst & Young, according to Raymond James.
