A former top producer with Edward Jones, John Lindsey has begun the process of migrating to a fee-based business by partnering with Securities America branch office Cooper McManus, an RIA with more than 40 advisors.
In so doing, Lindsey founded his own practice in Westlake Village, Calif., Lindsey & Lindsey Wealth Management with roughly $100 million in assets under management. Lindsey joined the financial services industry in 1996 at Edward Jones where he ran one of the top 3% of office in terms of volume in the country.
“I looked at joining a number of firms and, after comparing several platforms, I felt the technology resources and personal support I would receive with Securities America was unmatched,” Lindsey said in a statement. “In addition, Cooper McManus has been invaluable in their consultative approach to going independent. Partnering with Securities America and Cooper McManus will allow me to achieve my goal of converting to a fee-based practice.”
Founded in 1984, Securities America Inc. is the nation’s seventh largest independent B-D with headquarters in La Vista, Neb. Securities America Financial Corp. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services Inc. (NYSE Amex: LTS).
